Görme ve işitme engellilere yönelik olarak başladığımız bu çalışmasının gelecekte başarılı hizmetlerimizin başlangıcı olmasını diliyoruz.

Club Name: Fethiye Mugla Lions Club
On January 19th, 2010, Fethiye Lions Club in Turkey organized a big event about hearing and sight disabilities and handicaps. We brought together The Hearing Impaired Association of Fethiye, The 6 Dots Blinds' Association of Fethiye and The Government Public Library of Fethiye to bring attention to these disabilities and ways to overcome them.
The President of Fethiye Lions Club, together with the presidents of the two mentioned associations and the head of the public library, talked about Helen Keller, her famous book about her life story and what is being done about these issues in Fethiye. Fethiye Lions Club donated copies of Helen Keller's book to the public library and to various NGOs/associations that are active in the town of Fethiye.
All of the local press and TV channels attended this meeting, as well as a large group of disabled citizens, officers of NGOs, Lions Club members and the general public. In addition, the wife of the Major of Fethiye shared her appreciation for the efforts of Fethiye Lions Club.
